Susan wrote: "We live in Bay City, on the Gulf Coast. Several
years ago, we came to Glen Rose when evacuating for a hurricane. My
husband was working 'on the road' and living in Glen Rose at the time.
While we were on our 'hurrication', the people of Glen Rose could not
have been more compassionate - including those in your ticket office. A
group of us went to see The Promise and while visiting with the
gentleman in your ticket booth about our evacuation situation, he
offered us discounted tickets. What an unexpected gift and pleasant
surprise for some road-weary travelers! The production was just what we
needed - a wonderfully uplifting story of Jesus' love for us. A form of
Jesus' love for us that night was shown to us before we ever walked in
the gate - in the form of a ticket salesperson!"
